} Shepperton occurs as small town in Surrey in the borough of Spelthorne, in England. In the south these are bounded per river Thames at Desborough Island and is bisected by the M3 motorway.

A title is from either 'Shepherds Town' & a title of one of a older streets, Sheep Hike, however reflects that origin.

A Church Square vicinity, next to the flow of any stream is the original village. Once the railroad station was constructed the mile northerly, linking Shepperton to London's Waterloo station, a village expanded in this counsel.

Shepperton's best known occupier is Shepperton Studios. Shepperton is too a house of creator J G Ballard and gets a mention in H. G. Wells novel The War of the Worlds where its destruction is described.
